The shoe tree...

Side Bay - on the West Coast of the Island - Mahatta River Area (these next 2 are not my pictures and I don't know who took them ... contact me if you would like credit)
Above .....15 minutes toward Holberg there is a tree where, ( I believe ), some logging boots fell out of a truck and a good samaratan nailed them to a tree o they would be seen and recovered. Everyone else started nailing their old shoes there as well and so the 'Shoe Tree' grew !

To give you some perspective.... In the Summer when the waters have lowered , it is about 35 feet to the water when you are jumping off the right-side end of the log, in the center of the picture
